Itinerary

Day 1 – Welcome to Mauritius.

Welcome to sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport of Mauritius, the destination of beach lovers, transfer to hotel as per your reservation. Evening free to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Mauritius. Dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2 – Full day North Island Tour

Morning depart for a full day North tour to Port Louis the capital of Mauritius. Visiting the historical buildings of Port Louis, La Citadelle – a stone fortress situated on top of a hill offering a magnificent view of Port Louis, Caudan waterfront – It has many shops, food courts, craft market, movie theatre, casino etc. On tour you have an option of taking the world famous Pamplemousses Garden (Monday to Sunday & public holidays – 08.30 hrs to 17.30 hrs) @ 6 USD entrance for 5 years and above. This garden was renamed in 1988 in honors of the late Prime Minister. A total 60-acre garden boasts 500 different species of plants, of which 80 are palms. Dinner and overnight rest.

Day 3 – Full Day South Island Tour

Morning depart for full day South Island tour, visit the craters of Trou Aux Cerf’s – an extinct volcanic crater covered with greenery and offering a breathtaking view. Sacred lake of Grand Bassin – according to Hindu mythology, Lord Shiva carrying the water of The Holy Gangas, dropped a few drops on the island and a lake was formed. One of the island’s two natural lakes, later depart for Black River Gorge & Chamarel Village – seven colored earth – where volcanic ash colored is naturally displayed in 7 different colors – red, brown, violet, green, blue, purple and yellow never erode in spite of torrential downpours and adverse climatic conditions. Dinner and overnight rest.

Day 4 – Full Day at Leisure or Optional Activities

After breakfast, enjoy the day at leisure or take an optional full-day Catamaran cruise. Description: Enjoy an unforgettable cruising experience on board on of our catamarans based in the north, Wind Dancer 1 & Wind Dancer 2″, to Ilot Gabriel. The catamaran motors out of Grand Baie heading for the islands, passing Gunners Coin, before reaching the lagoon between Ilot Gabriel and Flat Island. The sailing time to reach Ilot Gabriel is around one and a half hours.If you are lucky, you may see whales and dolphins during this fun adventure; in this case, the crew will stop the boat to allow you to observe these great animals from close in their natural habitat during the excursion. A super-friendly crew who will be pleased to share their knowledge of the rich history and ecology of the islands. A sumptuous pre-departure breakfast, a delicious BBQ lunch, tasty snacks, and a well-stocked Open Bar

08:30 – Boarding from the Grand Bay Public Beach.
08:45 – Breakfast and pre-departure safety briefing by your Captain.
09:00 – Sail to the Northern Isles.
10:30 – Arrive at Gabriel Island and Flat Island – hiking, bird-watching, snorkeling, and swimming.
12:30 – BBQ Lunch.
14:00 – Sail to Gunner’s Quoin – swimming and snorkelling in a natural aquarium.
16: 30 – Arrive at Grand Bay.

What you should bring: Soft carry bag, sand shoes, sun screen, hat, beach towel, and swimsuit, change of clothes, camera, and binoculars. Please Note: for this activity SIC (seat in coach) transfer is included from Hotels in North, West & South except Shanti Maurice. Back to resort, Dinner will be served in one of the restaurants at the hotel.

Day 5 – Full Day at Leisure

After breakfast, enjoy the day at leisure or take some optional activities from Resort itself on direct payment basis, Dinner and overnight rest.

Day 6 – Full Day Ile Aux Cerf Tour

Morning depart for a full-day excursion to Ile aux Cerfs – a beautiful island located off the east coast of Mauritius, famous for its white sandy beaches and turquoise lagoons. Transfer by speedboat from Trou d’Eau Douce to the island. Enjoy leisure time on the beach – ideal for swimming, sunbathing, or optional water sports such as parasailing, undersea walk, or tube ride (at your own cost). Later, you may opt for a delicious BBQ lunch on a nearby islet. In the afternoon, relax and explore more of the island’s beauty before taking the speedboat back to the mainland. Evening return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay

Day 7 – Back to Home

Today after breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
